We're showing you how you can create custom podcasts with ChatGPT to help you learn anything from the internet.
🤷♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:
You’ve seen it or heard it before.
“ChatGPT can’t write like a human. It sounds robotic.”
WRONG.
Do us all a favor. Go find whoever said that.
The Tweet. The LinkedIn post. The article. Find it? OK. Now, go ahead and click unfollow/unlike/unsubscribe/you’re wrong.
The bad thing about the Internet and ChatGPT advice? People have no clue what they’re talking about.
Sure, we’re a bit biased. But, our host Jordan has written for major publications for more than 20 years and has penned for big brands like Nike and Jordan Brand.
Oh, and he literally gave a speech at the largest AI conference about how to get ChatGPT content that sounds more human.
And Jordan cuts it straight when talking about ChatGPT being able to write like yourself. If you do it correctly, it’s entirely possible with about 90-95% accuracy in the tone of voice.
Don’t worry about that 5-10% drop-off, either. When you can 20X the output, you can spend a bit of time tweaking it to get it to 100%.
How do we get there?
Let’s break it down.
🦾How You Can Leverage:
Alright, if you gave us 27 minutes, then you’ve already been able to make ChatGPT write just like you.
No, seriously, go watch or listen and ask us questions on this one.
We’ll wait here.

..
Alright, let’s hammer it home with our 5 tips to make ChatGPT write like you.
1 – Use the right mode ✅
Don’t make this mistake, grasshopper.
Sure, the free version of ChatGPT ain’t bad. But if you want ChatGPT to mirror your style, you should be using GPT4 in ChatGPT Plus. Yeah, it’s a $20 monthly subscription, but don’t expect GPT3 (the free version) to be able to accurately copy your style.
Also, when you’re inside ChatGPT Plus, make sure to start your conversation in plugins mode. If you don’t know plugins, you should probably check this guide.
Try this:
This takeaway is simple - Start your journey in ChatGPT Plus with Plugins.
2 – Give access to writing samples ✍️
Yeah, that line above about plugins mode — here’s why. You’ll want to give ChatGPT access to samples of your writing. Buuuuuuut, ChatGPT can lose its memory pretty quickly when training it on your style. (See #5 below).
You’ll need to give ChatGPT access to your writing style, whether you do that in chat or through the use of plugins.
Try this:
Give ChatGPT access to your writing style, whether through the chat interface or using Internet-connected plugins.
Going the latter route may be best for copying your brand voice, so feel free to direct ChatGPT to certain web pages, or a PDF of your best writing samples that demonstrate your unique style.
3 – Follow PPP best practices 📋
You really thought we’d get through a ChatGPT show and not shout out our free PPP course? Yeah right, shorties. Our Prime, Prompt, Polish method is always best for interacting with ChatGPT.
Look what these peeps said:
Try this:
Reply PPP to this email. That’s it.
4 – Train ChatGPT as an employee 💼
This is a key emphasis of our PPP course, but here’s the skinny shorties: don’t expect copy-and-paste results. That’s not how a large language model like ChatGPT works.
While training ChatGPT on your writing style, it’s a back-and-forth affair. You’re coaching ChatGPT on your style, and providing guidance, feedback, and additional resources as you fine-tune ChatGPT’s outputs.
Try this:
Think of your Chat with ChatGPT on your writing style as an employee. Be very clear in your expectations, give guidance and resources, and keep the scope very narrow.
Don’t try and train your chat on different brand voices, or even different outputs for your tone of voice. This training should be a dedicated chat on one very specific tone of voice.
5 – Keep memory in mind 🧠
Yeah, ChatGPT can forget stuff. Here’s how your training ChatGPT session might go. After some back and forth, ChatGPT will just GET you. It’s like looking in the mirror.
But then after a few dozen outputs, things are gonna start to get distant. Like when your best friend moves away in fourth grade. Byyyyye Dwight.
That’s because ChatGPT, like all LLMs, has a finite memory. After you hit the limit, your output will start to suffer. And ChatGPT will start to NOT sound like you anymore.
Try this:
In our PPP course, we teach memory recall. Essentially, you’ll be asking ChatGPT to recap and summarize its directions and determined outputs every so often, as if to jog its memory. Here’s a SUPER deep dive into memory, and a lil trick to help you keep track of ChatGPT’s memory a bit better.
Now This …
And just like that, you’ll have ChatGPT talking like you in no time!
No more “robotic copy” or “bad outputs.” Just quality content.
Oh and don’t forget…reply to this email with PPP!
