🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

There’s so many AI image generators, and they all have their pros and cons.

To be honest, it can feel like learning a new language.

That’s why we tapped into the insights of Leonard Rodman, the Founder of Rodman AI. (Side note, if you care about AI image generators, then Leonard is a must-follow on LinkedIn)

To help us see through the foggy landscape of AI image generators, we asked Leonard to tell us The Good, The Bad and The Awesome of AI image generators.

If you care at all about the future of creatives, today’s show is for you.

So what did we learn?

More than just the Xs and Os of generating images.

Actually, we talked about the future of imagery in marketing and advertising, and how it may impact us all.

Some other key findings from today’s episode?

  • Belief that anyone, regardless of expertise, can eventually recognize AI-generated images

  • AI-powered image generation is going to change storytelling for companies

  • Safety and fair usage of generated images for commercial purposes

  • Suggestion to use the same prompt in different image generators, including MidJourney

  • Goal of providing keywords for effective prompting and generating images

  • Finding that AI-generated venture capital pitches receive 50% more funding

  • AI's capacity to generate images that suit storytelling needs, eliminating the need for separate searches

Whew.

Yeah, today’s show was chock-full of useful insights on getting the most out of AI image generators.

Go listen to this one, and then let’s break it down and talk about when and why each AI tool should be used.

🦾How You Can Leverage:

Sneeze and you might miss the latest AI image generator.

OK, not really.

But kind of.

Almost every day, a new AI image generator hits the market. Some make but a small ripple, while others make large waves.

So how can you learn to traverse these choppy AI waters?

If you’ve got dozens of hours to burn — jump on in. Water’s fine. If you wanna get straight to the point, Leonard Rodman is your swim instructor. In today’s episode, Leonard painted us a picture of The Good, The Bad and The Awesome of AI Image Generators.

Since Leonard already gave us a first-class breakdown of the pros and cons of so many image generators, we’re giving you the practical 1-2-3 on when to put each AI image generator to use.

Let’s get straight to it, and dive even deeper.

1 – Best for beginners 👍

Sup.

Oh, you’re new here? Don’t know where to start? Gotchyu. Our favorite for beginners? Bing Image Creator. Right now, Bing’s Image Creator is probably the easiest to use, free option. Better yet? It’s powered by DALLE-3, the new AI image generator from OpenAI.

Try this:
We already gave Bing’s Image Creator a spin when it was first released. Go check that out, and leave us a comment there on what you think!

2 – Best for text and logos ✍️

One of the earliest knocks on AI? (Aside from having three feet or a hand with 7 fingers.)

Text.

While early AI image generators struggled with text inside images and for logos, some new entrants have improved quite a bit. Leonard mentioned that for text and logos, we’d recommend giving DALLE-3 inside ChatGPT a spin, as well as Ideogram.

Try this:
Oh, what’s that? We’ve got you covered here as well. Here’s how to use DallE-3 inside ChatGPT, as well as a 101 on Ideogram we put out shortly after its release.

3 – Best for advanced users️ 🧑‍🎨

Not your first AI rodeo? Got it. If you’re ready to up your AI image generating game, let’s talk Big Leagues. In ‘The Awesome’ segment of our The Good, The Bad and The Awesome, Leonard talked about Midjourney and Leonardo AI being best for those really looking to push their creativity.

But if you really wanna go Big League, go check out some of Leonard’s free guides on Rodman AI.

He’s already got a dozen guides on Leonardo, and 100 helpful PDFs on getting the most out of Midjourney. (No, that’s not a typo. Leonard actually has 100 downloadable PDFs on Midjourney!)
