How to make ChatGPT your meeting assistant

Meetings are way too long and waste tons of time.

How can you fix that? Have ChatGPT automate your meeting workflow!

We're showing you how ChatGPT can summarize meeting notes, next steps to take, and follow-ups!

🦾How You Can Leverage:

Try and fight against AI, and it’ll be a tech terror.

Work with it, and it can be your new bestie.

That’s just one takeaway from today’s episode of Everyday AI, where we tapped into the mind of Sheetal Kohli Rishi, an AI transformation leader.

Sheetal is an AI industry vet, with experience working with AI teams at IBM Watson, McKinsey, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Citi and more.

Another takeaway — enterprise companies, especially, should be leaning into AI heavily if they’re not already.

If not…. 👇

Got your attention now?

Good.

It’s hard to break this episode into three important takeaways, so we suggest giving it a full watch/listen.

But, let’s boil the ocean with 3 takeaways you need to know. 👇

1 – Meetings need to change 🧑‍💻

Whether you’re at an emerging enterprise or wearing a dozen hats as a small business CEO, Sheetal called out one nagging issue that’s plagued businesses for decades — meetings.

In the age of Generative AI, meetings that aren’t AI-first are just wasted hours.

Meetings are kinda the same, regardless of where you work:

  • You prep.

  • You meet.

  • You synthesize info.

  • Think about priorities.

  • Track what should be done.

  • Communicating about meeting follow-ups afterward.

Try this:
Sheetal gave a simple yet direct takeaway here.

She said if your company isn’t already using AI in your meetings, to ask a Chief Information Officer or Chief Technology Officer on how you can integrate an AI assistant into your company’s workflow.

We ran over some of our favorite AI meeting assistants in this episode

2 – Embed AI in every function 🤖

If AI is to become your company’s new BFF, you can’t have cliques.

All departments need access to AI, not just data teams or those in business intelligence.

Successful AI implementation is a team sport, Sheetal said.

Also, she highlighted the speed of development and dropping costs of compute. Sheetal gave an example of the affordability factor that makes this all possible: What used to cost $10,000 in compute cost may now only cost $10.

Which makes AI for every team possible.

Try this:
Sound a bit overwhelming to implement AI…. Everywhere?

A great resource Sheetal shared? The book Fusion Strategy, a #1 New Release on Amazon which talks about how real-time data and AI will power the future.

3 – Talk the AI talk 🗣

AI chit chat used to be for the devs and the dorks like us.

Now, it’s boardroom material.

Sheetal emphasized the need for C-level leadership to continue to educate themselves on all things AI.

Learn and implement? AI will become your BFF.

If you try and fight it, it’ll become a tech terror.

Try this:
Sheetal called out some great resources for leaders to learn about AI implementation.

She mentioned AI courses and materials from:

EdX — Learn AI with online courses and programs.

MIT — Offers hundreds of free courses on AI

Coursera — Also offers hundreds of free courses on AI.
