How To Use AI as a Research Assistant šŸ˜°

šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Whatā€™s Going On: Seth Waite from Loam Exits discussed using ChatGPT as a researcher as opposed to something like Google Search.

If you want to hear more, check out todayā€™s episode.

Now that you know whatā€™s going on, hereā€™s how to leverage it

šŸ«µ Why It Matters To You: Currently, a lot of people are using ChatGPT and other AI tools simply to create and write things. But AI can be so much more. In the case of ChatGPT, you can use it to leverage how you find out information and gather resources.

How You Can Leverage: Letā€™s say you need to brush up on your knowledge of the latest marketing trends. You can have ChatGPT become a ā€œmarketing expertā€ and relay the top insight on recent trends vs stumbling through 10 different Google Search results.

Behind The Scenes: Hereā€™s how you can transform ChatGPT into your personal  assistant:

šŸ“ Prime -Give it any background information you have and assign it a role (ex: you are a marketing professor at X university and Google has just announced x.)

šŸ—£ļø Prompt - This is the part where you tell ChatGPT what you need from it. Itā€™s crucial to have a good prompt in order to get the best outcome possible.

šŸ§¼ Polish - Once you receive your response, you can tweak your prompt based on what you want ChatGPT to add to itā€™s response or change.
