1. The New York Times May Sue OpenAI 🧑‍⚖️

The New York Times is considering a lawsuit against OpenAI over intellectual property infringement, and things are heating up. The newspaper giant sees OpenAI's ChatGPT as a direct competitor, possibly remixing their reporting for profit, and if a federal judge finds OpenAI guilty, the copyright penalties could be a financial nightmare for the AI firm.

2. Meta's Code Llama: A New Challenger 🦙

Meta Platforms is gearing up to launch Code Llama, an open-source software that'll help developers automatically generate programming code, giving a run for their money to big names like OpenAI, Google, and others. Building on Meta's Llama 2 software, Code Llama is set to make it easier for companies to develop AI assistants that suggest code as developers type.

3. GPT-4 Code Interpreter Crushes Math Benchmarks 🧮

Researchers have taken GPT-4 Code Interpreter to a whole new level, smashing the MATH benchmark with a whopping 69.7% accuracy, leaving GPT-4's 42.2% in the dust. By introducing two methods, Explicit Code-Based Self-Verification and Verification-Guided Weighted Majority Voting, they cranked up the accuracy to an astonishing 84.3%.

4. Nvidia's H100 GPU is Selling Quickly 🚀

Nvidia's new H100 GPU profits are sizzling! With manufacturing costs around $3,320 and retail prices between $25,000 and $40,000, Nvidia is raking in profits of up to 1000%. The H100 is essentially sold out until 2024, and with potential revenues of $13.75 billion to $22 billion in 2023, Nvidia's cash flow is just getting started.

5. Runway's New 'Watch' Feature: Hollywood, Meet AI 🎬

Runway is launching a new feature called "Watch" on its website and iOS app, allowing users to share and consume longer-form videos created with Runway tools. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

(Well, you should make time and go check out the replay.)

Whether you’re a ChatGPT newbie or kick it with Chad daily, there’s something for you in today’s episode.

Here’s why.

ChatGPT is constantly changing. New features are being added. (And being taken away.) Take today’s show as an intro for beginners and a refresher for pros. (Oh, and we shared some super secrets that even the most advanced ChatGPTer will find handy.)

We covered it all: from custom instruction and the best plugins to code interpreter and sharing chats.

Ready to get chatty?

Let’s break it down. 👇

🦾How You Can Leverage:

This is the guide you asked for.

From top to bottom, today’s show was your go-to guide for everything ChatGPT. And it’s obviously a very visual walkthrough, so make sure to re-watch it here. (Sorry podcast lovers.)

If you’re strapped on time, don’t worry.

Here’s our essential 1-2-3 for ChatGPT.

1 – Change your mindset 🧠

Get your mind right, shorty.

We opened up the show talking about shifting your mindset a bit when using ChatGPT. So often, we just wanna copy something from the internet and get something amazing out of ChatGPT. Usually, that gives you subpar results. Also, that’s not how a large language model like ChatGPT is designed to work.

Try this: Instead, think of each new chat inside ChatGPT as a new employee. Go back and forth, ask questions, and train each chat like you would a new employee. This is exactly what we teach in our free PPP course (Prime, Prompt, Polish).

If you want access, reply PPP to this email. That’s it. You’ll be off to the races like these smart professionals. 👇

2 – Use the right mode 📳

We’ll fight anyone on this — ChatGPT Plugin mode reigns supreme.

More on that: ChatGPT has two tiers in the free GPT3.5 version and the paid GPT4 version called ChatGPT Plus. And within ChatGPT plus, there’s a default version, a data superstar version called Code Interpreter, and then a plugins mode.

Try this: For a in-depth overview of the different modes, and a comparison of the free version vs. the paid version, check this breakdown.

3 – Build solutions with plugins 🔌l

Plugins. Schmugins.

Naaaaaah. Here’s our hot take: if you know how to use ChatGPT plugins, you’ll easily be able to save 90% of your time on manual, repetitive tasks. With more than 1,000 plugins available, and the ability to combine up to 3 in any chat, you can actually automate the majority of your business or job if you know what you’re doing. Serisously.

Try this: Just get the paid version y’all. Yeah, it’s $20 a month. But you can use it for one month to see how powerful it is. (And you won’t cancel. Especially not after watching this video). For about 90% of all use-cases, we recommend using plugin mode. Why? You can legit automate your business in seconds.

Now This …
