1. Using AI For Retail Targeting 🛍 -- Don’t you love when you see things you never knew you needed. Soon you won’t even be able to avoid that “perfect” ad. As retail becomes more reliant on data and first-party data, AI is becoming retailers’ go-to. See how they’re using AI.
2. Meta is Making Its AI Open Source 😮 -- Looks like Meta is putting all its cards on the table. The tech giant has publicly released its latest A.I. technology so people can build their own chatbots. Some of their competitors, like Google, think that approach can be dangerous.
3. AI May Help Predict Cancer Diagnosis Years Earlier 🧑⚕️ -- This has to be one of the more uplifting use cases for AI that give us hope. A recent study showed that an AI tool can detect who is at risk for pancreatic cancer. This disease is normally difficult to detect in its early stages.

Humanoid Robots in the Workplace
🤷♂️ What’s Going On:
Jim Shaw joins today’s shows to talk about humanoid robotics, what the future hold for the warehouse industry, and whether robots will ultimately serve to complement or replace human labor.
If you want to hear more about it, check out today’s episode.
Now that you know what’s going on, here’s how to leverage it
🫵 Why It Matters To You:
🫴 At first glance, helpthe idea of robots taking our jobs may seem scary, but the reality is that robotics has the potential to positively impact our daily lives.
✅ By taking over dull, dirty, and dangerous tasks, robots can help us focus on higher-level tasks that require critical thinking and creativity. This means that our skills are better utilized and we can ultimately get more done.
🏃 Plus, as companies transition to using robots in their workforce, it could potentially lead to more efficient processes and even a reduced cost of living.
👀 So, while the conversation around robotics in the labor force may seem far removed from our everyday lives, it's definitely something worth paying attention to.
🦾 How You Can Leverage:
1. 👀 Look around you!
If you work in a warehouse, restaurant, or even a hospital, the chances are high that you're using some form of robotics every day.
2. 🌟 Embrace the positive!
Robots aren't coming for our jobs - instead, they're filling gaps that humans are unable (or don't want) to fill.
Jim and Jordan discussed on the podcast how using robots in labor-intensive, dangerous, and dirty work can free up workers to do jobs that require strategic thinking and learning, which are our best assets.
3. 👨👩👦👦 Consider the bigger picture!
Robots can have a positive impact on society as a whole - for example, AI is being developed to help in the fight against diseases like cancer, giving us hope for the future.
4. 🎓 Keep learning!
Even if you're not in a field that uses robotics right now, it's worth it to educate yourself on the topic. Here’s something to get you started.
5. 🤔 Question everything!
Just like any technology, robotics isn't perfect, and it's essential to always consider potential risks, motives behind companies, and who it's going to impact. Stay curious and informed!
