Enter the Canva ChatGPT plugin that's been making waves in the design community.

But is it the game-changer it claims to be, or just another shiny distraction? We were kinda underwhelmed.

Find out why in today's AI in 5.

🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

AI isn’t human.

But can it actually replicate the human touch to improve sales and marketing?

Absolutely. (Well, at least, if you know what you’re doing.)

Luckily, we chatted with Jérémy Grandillon, a sales pro and AI enthusiast who’s launching a new venture called The Forge.

So, what’s the best way to integrate AI into your sales rhythm, and keep the human touch?

Jérémy dished all for us, and took questions live.

How can you steal his best practices and start using AI for more personalized sales?

We’ve got you 👇

🦾How You Can Leverage:

So you gave Jérémy and Jordan your attention, and now you’re undoubtedly ready to get your AI sales ramped up, right?

We don’t blame you.

There’s a lot to digest, and some tech difficulties we had to swat away, so here’s the requisite 1-2-3 breakdown you need to get going!

1 – Know the manual process 🔀

Big mistake in trying to quickly integrate AI? Not knowing the process inside and out first. Jérémy reminded us of this common misstep.

If you’re too quick to try and plug in automations and AI in your marketing and sales, you run a huge risk.

Try this:
You can’t count to 3 without 1 and 2. If you’re not intimately aware of your industry, vertical or sales process, you’ve GOTTA get that down before scrolling through AI tools like flipping through a coupon book. (Do those still exist?)

Our take - track all of your manual moves. Write down each step of your sales or marketing process, and detail the time and efforts they all entail.

2 – Tap into AI for better insights💡

OK, we could go on for paragraphs and paragraphs on this one. Once you’ve got a grasp on your marketing and sales process, it’s time to tap into the power of AI.

There’s no shortage of tools and techniques, and Jérémy shared some of his favorites: from the Humanlinker Chrome extension for better insights to the AI-powered engagement software Lemlist.

Try this:
Another gem Jérémy referenced: using ChatGPT’s Advanced Data Analysis tool, formerly called Code Interpreter to gain insights into your Ideal Customer Profile, or ICP.

Jérémy’s advice was sound: use Code Interpreter and upload your customer info from your CRM software (Customer Relationship Management) and ask it to analyze your data. Soon enough, you’ll have drool-worthy insights into your customers. We did a live demonstration of a similar technique here.

3 – Test, measure, and test again 📏

Ok, so you’ve got some shiny AI help now in your marketing and sales sequences. So you can just push a few buttons, and kick your feet up and count cash while sipping a margarita, right?

Not so fast. The more you tap into AI and automation, the more your attention needs to hone in on the data and the results. If you do use AI-powered tools or automation to up your sales game, make sure to measure and test often.

Try this:

As an example, the aforementioned Lemlist has A/B testing features. If you go the ChatGPT route and upload your customer data, make sure to update it often enough to reflect new habits and tendencies to capture changes in customer sentiment. And if you need a little boost, Jérémy has some free AI resources to get you started.
