The G7 nations are on the brink of agreeing on a voluntary AI code of conduct for companies, setting a precedent for AI governance amidst rising privacy concerns and security risks. This landmark decision aims to establish a framework for how major countries will oversee artificial intelligence in the future. The details of the code are yet to be fully disclosed, but its introduction signifies a collaborative effort to address the challenges posed by AI on a global scale.

3. Alibaba Challenges GPT-4 with "Tongyi Qianwen 2.0" 🤖

Alibaba has unveiled its answer to the GPT-4 model, introducing "Tongyi Qianwen 2.0" alongside eight specialized AI models tailored for various industries. 4. AI Art Generators Face Legal Hurdles Over Copyright 🎨

The debate over AI art generators and copyright infringement has taken a significant turn. U.S. District Court Judge William H. Orrick has issued a decision in a lawsuit against Stability AI, Midjourney, and DeviantArt, all of whom utilize AI to generate art. The lawsuit, filed by artists Sarah Anderson, Kelly McKernan, and Karla Ortiz, alleges copyright infringement. However, Judge Orrick largely granted a motion to dismiss the case, citing various defects in the complaint.
