💼 Microsoft hires DeepMind Co-Founder, Google Fined €250M by France, Ai discovers 430,000 galaxies, and more!
In partnership with NVIDIA
Sup y’all! 👋
A. It's not too late to still register for free the NVIDIA GTC virtual conference. You can watch previous sessions from industry leaders, attend workshops and enter to win an NVIDIA GPU and DLI credits. And you can watch NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's keynote address. Go register for free.
B. Speaking of Jensen, I got to spend time in a closed-door session with the CEO himself.
And got this pic:
Anyway, here's some insights from Jensen that you should know:
1. Bots are coming — Specifically, Jensen said “The ‘ChatGPT moment’ for robotics might be around the corner.” Between Tesla’s Optimus, the recent Figure 01 X ChatGPT demo and what NVIDIA announced yesterday with GR00T, humanoid robots are coming. Very soon. Jobs (and our lives) will be changing in a way faster than we can imagine.
2. Sora is impressive — Pretty sure Jensen doesn’t name drop companies casually. In the small Q&A session, he talked about OpenAI’s Sora multiple times.
Here’s the thing — he wasn’t talking about the text-to-video output. He was talking about what it means. Here’s what he said: “When it generates videos, it makes sense” and “Obviously the AI understands physics.”
3. AGI is probably 5 years out — What’s AGI? Artificial General Intelligence. Or in other words, when AI doesn’t really need humans and can accomplish any real-world tasks.
With NVIDIA’s thriving Omniverse, there’s probably only a handful of people in the world who are as qualified as Jensen to talk about this. How he defines AGI -- he said we're probably 5 years out.

🦾How You Can Leverage:
Big wins from AI — we all want it, but how do you get it?
If only there was someone who worked at a Fortune 100 company who was an AI expert and whose job it was to create business value for enterprise with GenAI.
(Oh wait… we’ve got that for you on the show today?)
You already know.
Evan Sparks is a tech titan when it comes to helping enterprise companies implement AI.
As the VP & GM of AI Solutions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, it is quite literally his job to help companies not only create value with AI, but how to capture and monetize it.
As a large-scale partner with NVIDIA, we were able to sit down live with Evan at the NVIDIA GTC conference.
Today’s episode is fast, action-packed, and probably the best use of 18 minutes you can spend today.
Here’s what you need to know. 👇
1 – Don’t jump in headfirst 🏃️
Come on in, the AI waters are great!
Not so fast shorties.
Evan says you’ve gotta look (twice!) before you leap.
You think — create business value with AI? Simple.
Just use this AI tool and prompt that AI tool and we’ve done it!
It can be a trap to blindly trust AI tools without considering data security and privacy implications, accidental data leakage, and the high cost of implementing generative AI.
And those dang hallucination things. 🤦
Additionally, companies may struggle with the decision of choosing the right model size and accuracy for their specific needs.
Try this:
Y’all. We already laid out the blueprint for you.
This episode below was the culmination of talking with 100+ experts from all walks of the biz world and dozens of hours of prep work.
Don’t jump into GenAI implementation if you haven’t listened to this episode:
2 – Embrace Rapid Iteration 🔁
Year-long pilots will sink your biz value ship.
If you want to create value, you’ve gotta play at the speed of the game, Evan said. It helps if you’re tapping into an enterprise system like NVIDIA’s. But, Evan still had great takeaways for companies of all sizes.
Don't be afraid to experiment and iterate rapidly with AI tools and models.
Stay updated with the latest open-source models and leaderboards, and be willing to incorporate the newest advancements in your development cycle. This nimbleness and commitment to ongoing improvement can yield powerful results.
Try this:
There’s wrong ways to create biz value with AI and there’s right ways. This Deloitte guide is definitely the latter, showing a top-to-bottom look at how to develop a rapid approach to AI implementation but doing it the right way.
3 – Identify Your Data Moat 💡
Data is the fuel for generative AI models.
Bad data, bad models.
Bad models = no value.
Evan said that companies can have a real competitive advantage if they get their data in check and prioritize the ability to iterate rapidly to adapt to evolving technology and market demands.
Take a moment to assess the data your business or work processes generate and look for areas where you have a unique advantage.
It could be customer insights, historical trends, or industry-specific knowledge. This "data moat" is your treasure trove for leveraging generative AI to create value.
Try this:

Like a thick blanket on a crisp spring day, HPE’s got you all covered here. Check out their three essential steps to improve your data strategy for AI implementation.
