Google's New Gemini for Workspace Review

Google has FINALLY added Gemini AI to its Workspace!

Does Gemini take Workspace to the next level? Or is it just a flop?

We dive in to do some testing.

🦾How You Can Leverage:

Your most powerful AI tool prolly isn't ChatGPT or Midjourney.

Or Runway or Gemini.

It's actually right under your nose. It’s…. Your browser.

Yeah, you heard that right. Edge.

The revamped browser from Microsoft you've probably been ignoring. (R.I.P. Internet Explorer.)

Here’s the deal shorties: If you're not using Edge, you're missing out on some seriously game-changing AI features.

And we're not just talking about a slightly smarter search bar.

How's it work?

Where do you start?

And how can I use it to grow my biz?

Boy oh BOY are we glad you asked those rhetorical questions.

We tackled those and more in today’s edition of Everyday AI, getting gritty with your next favorite AI tool.

Let’s get browsing on our takeaways 👇

1 – Better Browsing with Copilot 🧑‍💻️️

Forget opening 30 tabs. That's so last decade. (Yawn.)

Edge's Copilot banner in the upper-right hand corner is like having a super-smart intern right in your browser.

Except this intern don’t sleep and has alllll the right answers.

It's powered by GPT-4 Turbo for free users.

Yeah, you heard that right. Free.

And it can analyze entire web pages in seconds.

But here's the kicker: Copilot isn't just a fancy search bar. It's a conversational AI that understands context. You can chat with it about any webpage you're on. It's like having a really smart friend who's read everything on the internet.

Try this:

Yeah, we gave you the deepest of dives in today’s episode.

But, if you want the tl;dr version, this quick video tutorial goes over 5 new AI Copilot features to try within Edge.

2 – Become a Savvy Shopper with AI 🛍

Prime Day giving you anxiety?

Chill. Edge has built-in features to make you a shopping ninja.

It's got this nifty shopping extension that shows you price history. No more falling for fake "discounts."

But wait, there's more. It can compare products across different sites. And find better deals.

It's like having a personal shopper without the attitude.

Try this:

While on that Blue Yeti Nano page, look for the Microsoft shopping extension pop-up. It'll show you if it's the lowest price in the last 3 months.

Then, ask Copilot, "Give me the 3 most comparable mics to this Blue Yeti Nano."

It'll pull info from various sources, giving you a quick comparison without opening multiple tabs.

3 – More Info, Less Time ⏳️

Remember those days when you'd spend hours reading boring PDFs?

Like, pulling up that PDF.

Getting your notes read on another screen. Coffee in hand.

Do not disturb mode.

And then you spent like 90 minutes combing through a doc to find those 1-2 insights you ACTUALLY needed.

Snooze fest.

Not anymore, my friend. Edge is about to make you look like a research wizard.

It can summarize entire documents. Create outlines. Generate page summaries. Even answer specific questions about the content.

All in one click.

For free.

(We swear this ain’t even a sponsored review. Microsoft Edge is actually just that big of a no-brainer when it comes to choosing your browser.)

Try this:

Got a long, sleep-inducing report to read?

Open it in Edge. Click that Copilot banner and say, "Please give me the 5 simple steps mentioned on this page. Keep it short and succinct."

Watch as it extracts the key points faster than you can say "TL;DR."

Your boss will think you've developed superpowers as you snap back your report in a few minutes instead of EOD tomorrow.

If you’re ready to dive in, go check out Microsoft’s free Copilot learning hub.

A few minutes invested there will pay off dividends in hours saved later.

4 – Drop-Down Delight ⬇️

Let’s double-click on this drop-down y’all.

Look closely. You’ll see three options:

"Relevant sources,"

"This page only,"

 "This site."

That last one? It's like finding the secret menu at In-N-Out.

"This site" lets you pick the brains of entire websites in seconds. (Again…. FOR FREE!)

We honestly don’t know any other AI tool out there (and we’ve used like a bajillion) that allows you to literally turn a single website into a smart AI assistant instantly.

You can use this to become an instant expert on any topic.

Want to know everything about AI?

Just point it at your favorite AI blog (ahem, youreverydayai.com) and watch the magic happen.

It's not just about finding information faster. It's about finding better information.

And isn't that what we're all after?

Try this:

Go to a site you trust. Let's say... oh, I don't know…something totally random….  youreverydayai.com

Use the "This site" option in Copilot and ask, "Give me 10 tips on using large language models like a pro." Or, “Explain Small Language Models in simple terms.”

Then, watch as it pulls insights from across the entire site, searching through legit hundreds pages and episodes.

You'll get a curated list of tips without manually combing through the site like it's 2003.

Unless you love wasting time.

Welcome to the future, friend, brought to you by…. a browser!
