1. Meta Aims for Superhuman AI Dominance 🤖

In an exclusive interview, Mark Zuckerberg reveals Meta's goal to build artificial general intelligence (AGI) and achieve superhuman intelligence capabilities. Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is ramping up its AI research group, FAIR, to develop generative AI products across its apps. With Meta stockpiling an impressive number of NVIDIA GPUs, Zuckerberg is ready to flex the computing power needed to train large language models.

2. Rabbit R1 and Perplexity AI Join Forces for UX 🤳

Rabbit r1, the groundbreaking AI-first gadget, has joined forces with Perplexity AI to deliver an elevated user experience. With Perplexity's advanced technology, the r1 device eliminates the need to use your phone. By leveraging AI models from Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI, Perplexity offers a chatbot interface that rivals traditional search engines. The two combined offer a new mobile experience.

3. TikTok Tests AI Song Feature 🎶

TikTok is stepping up its game with a new feature that lets users generate songs with the help of AI. 🦾How You Can Leverage:

Need an actual return from Generative AI?

We’ve got the blueprint.

On today’s show, Jordan laid out the single best way to get an ROI on GenAI: by automating your manual knowledge work with GenAI.

Yeah, it’s not about calculating costs for a handful of different enterprise GenAI softwares.

That’s backwards, shorties.

Instead, Jordan did a deepish dive on the concept of manual knowledge work, and a point-by-point breakdown of how to start handing it over to AI.

In short, knowledge workers are those who use their comprehension skills and critical thinking skills (ie… knowledge!) to grow a company.

Buuuuuuttt….. large language models like OpenAI’s GPT4, Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude are the new knowledge workers.

Sorry y’all, LLMs and GenAI can probably outperform you on (almost) any knowledge task when done properly.

And way faster.

So if time equals money, and money equals time, then GenAI prints money by giving you back your time.

Ready to hit Ctrl+P and print that money/time?

Let’s get it. 👇

1 – See the GenAI wave rising 🌊

This can be hard to swallow.

But Jordan laid out how knowledge work is soooo 2021. Yeah, those decades of expertise don’t mean quite as much as they used to.

Try this:
Don’t believe us?

Welp, how about this McKinsey & Company study that says “generative AI and other technologies have the potential to automate work activities that absorb 60 to 70 percent of employees’ time today.”

This one’s a TOOOON to take in, so warm up the coffee and get after it.

2 – Understand your manual work 💡

We’re all on the same page now, right?

Bet.

A big piece of advice on getting ROI on GenAI?

Stop looking at shiny GenAI tools, or trying to fit a square ChatGPT into a round biz problem.

Like Jordan said, focus your first GenAI implementation on where you spend your most manual knowledge work time.

Whether that time is spent in meetings, learning new things, writing content, analyzing documents or presenting, you’ve gotta start where you spend the most time.

Try this:

If you didn’t catch our ‘7 Ways to Use AI in Your Business in 2024’ episode, this one a must-listen/must-watch.

3 – Win back time

Mindset right? Check.

Manual work categorized and prioritized? Check and check.

Only thing left to do? Put the work in.

Jordan gave a few examples live on the show, but that doesn’t mean those examples are for you.

Instead focus first on the one category of work where you’re putting in the most manual hours:
meetings, learning, writing, analysis or presenting.

Try this:
Here’s something you may not know — we already created tons of short tutorials on how to win back your time.

Meetings — Turn hours of follow-ups into less than a minute with this ChatGPT meeting hack.

Learning — Learn (actually) anything in no time with this GPT gem

Writing — Want better and faster content with AI, but It’s sounding a bit robotic? Here’s the fix.

Analyzing — Ready for your mind to be blown? See how to stack GPT’s analysis prowess with real-time data.

Presenting — Spend time creating presentations? (The answer is literally yes for everyone.) Here’s how to make ChatGPT do the research, writing, and presentation building all in one.
