1. ChatGPT Copyright Rules Incoming? 🤔 -- Looks like ChatGPT could be paying YOU soon! 💸 One major issue currently is crediting the right people for text that AI uses for reference. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman came out saying they’re working on new models where you’ll get paid if AI uses your content or style.
2. Text to 3D Model is On The Way 🦾 -- Soon you won’t have to be an expert in 3D rendering to create whatever you want. OpenAI is coming out with it’s new text to 3D model, Shap-E. They should’ve used ChatGPT to help name that one lol.
3. Meet Your New (Virtual) Girlfriend 💁♀️-- Tired of the struggles in the dating scene? Don’t worry. For just $1 a minute, this new virtual girlfriend can be all yours! This 23-year-old influencer created an AI chatbot version of herself called CarynAI. It was built using 2,000 hours of her Youtube content.
4. Apple Wants AI To Be Regulated 🍎-- First the “Godfather of AI” and now the “almighty” Apple? Co-founder Steve Wozniak is warning us that AI regulation is needed to stop scams and misinformation.
5. A New Wearable Computer 💻 -- Goodbye smartphones, hello wearable projectors? Humane has developed a wearable AI that slips into your breast pocket and projects onto the palm of your hand. From answering voice calls to AI voice assistance tasks, this new “phone” could really come in hand-y. See what I did there?

Embracing AI in Art with an Open Mind
🤷♂️ What’s Going On: Rachel Moreau of Brand of a Leader talked about her awesome process of using AI to take some of her art, like sketches and stories, and create real-life images of those characters. It’s honestly insane!
If you want to hear more on her workflow, check out today’s episode.
Now that you know what’s going on, here’s how to leverage it
🫵 Why It Matters To You: People often feel the need to only look at AI in a professional setting. But who says you can’t use AI for your own personal fun or growth? Leveraging AI doesn’t just mean finding ways to be more efficient. It also gives you skills to create things you would’ve never been able to do before!
How You Can Leverage: Rachel gives great examples on how you can dip your toe into the creative space using AI.
“Maybe you want to make something like a funny little image for your friends and you don't know how to use Photoshop, so how about you just go in and start there? Maybe you want to make really elaborate pieces of art and you want to build up your skills that way. Then, of course, start there. I think it's just starting where you're going to have fun with the technology first and then moving forward without any higher expectations of how it's going to turn out.”
Behind The Scenes: Here’s an example of Rachel’s art and the steps she took.
✏️ Sketch - Rachel starts with a pencil sketch that she then digitalizes using Krita.
📷 Image Diffusion - Then she takes her image and uses Stable Diffusion’s image to image to make a photorealistic version of her digital sketch.
👋 Touch Ups - Because many AI image generators don’t do well with specific requests like “green eyes” or “red hair,” Rachel throws her final image into Photoshop to add her final details that AI can’t currently handle.
