🤷♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:
Come on in, the water’s fine.
If you’ve been back and forth on how/why/if you’re going to use AI, today’s show is for you.
Sunehra Malhotra shared her journey with sticking her toe in the AI waters.
Even though she works at a 9-figure company, she said Brevo doesn’t have a formal AI policy.
(Don’t worry y’all, that’s the norm.)
But, her company is putting out AI-powered products, such as a newly released, AI-powered assistant that helps with subject line creation, as well as A/B and send-time testing.
So as an Enterprise Account Executive, what does Sunehra do?
Dips her toe in the AI waters.
Sunehra walked us through how she leverages ChatGPT to help her with everything from competitor analysis, email sequence building and sales enablement.
We packed a lot of beginner-friendly content into 24 minutes.
We’ll wait here for you to take it all in.
(Flicks toes in the warm, clear AI waters)
Alright, now let’s dive in.
🦾How You Can Leverage:
Where to start?
Whether you’re looking to use AI to help make more sales, learn from the competition, or to help you write better emails, today’s episode was jam-packed with goodies.
Too much value in this one, you say?
Don’t worry.
Here’s our 3-step action plan for beginners to use ChatGPT for research, analysis, and more.
1 – Have ChatGPT find your uniquely better 🔍
Sunehra talked about leaning into ChatGPT to help research — golden nugget!
We often think of AI assistants like ChatGPT, Bard or BingChat as writers. But — they know (most of!) the whole internet.
Try this prompt below. You’ll need ChatGPT Plus for this with the proper web-plugins enabled. If you don’t have it, you can get it from us for free.
Try this:
Prompt:
Act as a researcher for {Your Company name}. You are world-renowned for your ability to thoroughly and accurately research companies, run competitive analyses, and spot industry trends.
Our website URL is: {your website URL}
Our target demographic is {target demographic info}. For this task, please also research our competitors: {Competitor 1 and website} {Competitor 2 and website} {Competitor 3 and website}.
Please help {Your company name} find our unique selling proposition that our target demographic would value most. Please list at least 5 in-depth conclusions for what our USP could be in the {field/industry name}
In doing so, please also explain your rationale for each USP, as well as a step-by-step breakdown on how you got there, and how that USP can help put us ahead of each of our competitors.
2 – Compete better with AI 🥊
Let’s take this a bit further. After you get some goodies from the result of prompt #1, let’s continue on. Sunehra mentioned email sequences, so…. That’s where we’re going!
Try this:
Continuation Prompt:
Continue as a researcher for {Your Company name} and let’s build off of the 5 USPs that you helped identify.
Now, also tap into your background as an expert email copywriter. You've studied and mastered the copywriting techniques and email tactics of copywriters such as Matt Furey, Jay White, Ben Settle, Jay and Andre Chaperon.
For this task, please write a 3-step email sequence for each of the 5 USPs you helped identify above.
For the tone of voice, please follow the brand voice as demonstrated in some of our previous emails on this page {link to example of your brand voice/best email sequences}. Please include an engaging subject line, as well as copy that helps {explain the purpose of your email}
3 – Learn from the best 🤓
