1. Council of Europe Signs Landmark AI Treaty with US, UK and EU 🗣
The Council of Europe has officially opened the signature for the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law, making it the first legally binding treaty on AI in the world. Countries including the US, UK, and EU are participating, but notable absences include nations from Asia and Russia.
This treaty seeks to address critical issues such as data misuse and discrimination while ensuring that AI technology aligns with human rights and democratic principles.
2. OpenAI Considers Higher Subscription Prices for New AI Models 🚗
OpenAI is reportedly exploring subscription rates that could reach $2,000 per month for its upcoming large language models, including the Strawberry and the flagship Orion. Currently, the ChatGPT Plus subscription is priced at $20/month, but with over 200 million weekly active users, the company may see this as an opportunity to increase revenue.
These discussions come amid reports of potential investments from major companies like Apple and Nvidia, possibly valuing OpenAI at over $100 billion.
3. Tesla Unveils Self-Driving AI Roadmap 🚗
Tesla has revealed its ambitious AI and self-driving roadmap, generating a mix of excitement and skepticism. With FSD v1252 claiming a 3x improvement in necessary interventions, many are questioning whether this marks a significant advancement or just another delay.
The planned October 2024 release for Cybertruck FSD raises concerns about Tesla's transparency regarding critical disengagement data, which is vital for assessing safety.
4. Australia Proposes New AI Regulations to Ensure Human Oversight
Australia's government is introducing new guidelines aimed at enhancing transparency and human intervention in artificial intelligence systems. Industry Minister Ed Husic announced 10 voluntary guidelines and a month-long consultation to consider making them mandatory for high-risk AI applications.
With rising concerns about misinformation and unintended consequences, Husic stressed the importance of meaningful human oversight to mitigate potential risks
5. X (formerly Twitter) Reaches Resolutions with EU 📜
X has reached a significant legal resolution with the European Union regarding the unauthorized use of user data for AI training. The Irish Data Protection Commission has confirmed that X will permanently cease processing EU/EEA users' data without consent, reinforcing the protection of citizens' rights.
Privacy advocate Max Schrems has criticized X for avoiding fines despite clear violations of data protection laws.
6. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Raises Forecast with AI
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has raised its profit forecast, driven by increasing demand for AI servers, yet shares fell nearly 3% due to disappointing quarterly revenue in critical segments. While HPE reported a significant 35% increase in server revenue to $4.3 billion, the company’s unchanged full-year revenue outlook has left investors cautious.
The competitive landscape intensifies as rivals like Dell Technologies bolster their forecasts amid strong server demand.

🦾How You Can Leverage:
Enterprise AI just got a new player.
But did they fumble the ball before kickoff?
We think so.
(Speaking of kickoffs… anyone else excited for the NFL season tonight?)
Hear us out.
Claude for individual consumers is fantastic.
We’re big fans.
So less than 24 hours ago, Anthropic launched their Enterprise offering for Claude.
We should be jumping for joy, right?
Not so fast.
While Claude's been killing it with consumer rollouts, their enterprise game plan seems... a bit off.
Don't get us wrong – we love Claude. The 500,000 token context window for Enterprise accounts?
Mind-blowing.
Chef’s kiss. Love it.
But for most businesses looking to go all-in on an enterprise AI solution, Claude's not quite ready for the big leagues.
They fumbled enterprise.
We tackled it all on today’s episode of Everyday AI.
Here’s a high level overview of what you need to know.
1 – No Internet? No dice. ❌️
// rant incoming //
Imagine rolling out an "enterprise-ready" AI in 2024 that can't access the internet.
It's not just embarrassing—it can be downright dangerous for your biz.
Let’s be honest.
Employees look for shortcuts, and want as copy-and-paste-ready outputs as possible from their company’s LLM of choice.
(Even though that’s not the correct way to do it, but that’s the facts of how employees use LLMs.)
In today's AI-first biz world, working with outdated info is like competing in an Olympic sprint wearing flip-flops.
And blind-folded.
It won’t work. You’ll stumble and get beat.
Your competitors are making decisions based on real-time data, while Claude's living (minimum) 5ish months in the past.
What's worse? Anthropic's got Amazon's billions in their pocket as the tech titan has reported invested more than $4 billion into Anthropic.
You know, the company that basically runs the internet?
Y’alll.
// rant kinda done //
Try this:
This isn't just a feature gap; it's a chasm that could swallow your company whole. When your AI can't tell you what happened five minutes ago, you're not just behind—you're out of the race entirely.
Put Claude in a time machine test. Ask it about a rapidly evolving situation, then fact-check its answers against real-time sources. Watch as it confidently spews outdated info that could tank your next big decision.
Go try and use a tool like Chathub and you’ll see what we mean.
Run some side-by-side inputs of timely business moves you make on a daily basis.
2 – The Lone Ranger of Integrations 🎯
Anthropic's proudly waving their GitHub integration like it's the eighth wonder of the world.
Spoiler alert: it’s super cool. But not worth tooting horns about.
In a world where your AI should be playing nice with every tool in your tech stack, Claude's showing up with a single party trick.
It's like bringing a kazoo to a symphony orchestra and expecting applause.
Even worse?
This lone integration isn't even fully baked. It's in beta, available to a select few, with promises of wider access... someday.
Meanwhile, the competition's building entire ecosystems of integrations that actually reflect how businesses work.
Try this:
Map out your daily digital journey.
Every app, every platform, every digital pit stop.
Now, see how many Claude can connect with.
Spoiler: Hope you like GitHub, because that's basically all you're getting.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can upload a bajillion static files into Claude Enterprise with its amazing 500K context window.
But guess what?
Those bajillion static files are gonna change and age out reaaaaaaalll quick. Now you have something similar to problem #1 above — stale data that you’re putting too much trust into.
It's not just about quantity; it's about creating a seamless workflow. And right now, Claude's more speed bump than superhighway.
3 – The "Trial" by Fire🧍
You can barely kick Claude's tires before the lot closes on its free and paid Pro plans.
The free and base paid tiers are so limited, you'll hit the wall faster than a crash test dummy.
No serious business can make a decision based on such limited exposure.
Claude says this on limits: “you can expect to send at least 45 messages every 5 hours, often more depending on message length, conversation length, and Claude’s current capacity”
Those caveats?
Brutal.
In short, if you’re doing some heavy lifting and complex tasks, expect to see WAY fewer than 45 messages on the basic paid plan. (We routinely eat through that limit in about 20 minutes of heavy use.)
Twenty minutes of deep diving before a four-hour timeout? That's barely enough to warm up, let alone evaluate Claude to see if it’s right for your enterprise before jumping into the deep end.
In short — how the heck can companies seriously vet Claude aside from blindly jumping to an Enterprise tier that reportedly has … FLEXIBLE PRICING.
Oy vey.
Try this:
Start a stopwatch the moment you begin testing Claude.
Go wild.
Heavy tasks.
Split screen
Data viz.
Annnnnnnnnd you’re on timeout.
See how far you get before hitting a wall. Then do the same with competitors. The difference won't just be noticeable—it'll be night and day.
We’ve done quite a few Claude comparisons, so we can save you some time evaluating.
