4. Shutterstock and OpenAI agree to 6-Year Agreement 📸

Before we learn to do a 360-windmill dunk, we gotta learn to like… crawl and walk first, right?

That’s what today’s episode was all about: getting back to the basics of ChatGPT.

We took a deep dive into the basics of ChatGPT. Nowadays, you can’t even turn on the TV for too long without hearing the chit-chat about our ChatGPT sidekick.

And we realized something — we’ve had about 30+ episodes specifically on ChatGPT, but haven’t broken down the REAL 101 yet.

So, here it is.

Well, there are 1.8 trillion parameters that make up ChatGPT, so even the basics are a bit busy. But don’t worry, y’all.

We got the simple breakdown of the breakdown.

1 – Sign up for an account 🔰

ChatGPT has a free version for anyone to use, but you have to create an account.

All of your chats are saved in the left hand panel so you can reference them later. The free version has no memory of anything past September 2021, so recent events will bring back an error. The paid version allows you to tap into more than 700+ plugins.

Try this: Get the $20/mo ChatGPT Plus account. We aren’t paid to say that. It is legit worth WAY more than that, and being able to use ChatGPT plugins and Code Interpreter will allow you to analyze faster, research deeper, and write better.

2 – Know the ins and outs 🧠

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we get it.

Learning ChatGPT might seem daunting at first. Is it a Google search replacement? Microsoft Word/Google Docs replacement? Or is it an Alexa replacement?

The answer is …. Yes. The most important thing to getting the most out of ChatGPT is to start to use it where you would normally use a Google Search, Word Doc, or even asking a smart assistant.

Try this: Let’s be real… AI-powered search is the future. Google is moving away from traditional search and into Search Generative Experience (SGE). Bing is moving away. Moral of the story: you might as well get ahead of the curve. So do this… set your browser home page to ChatGPT, Google Bard, or Bing Chat so you can start learning.
