Outsmart The Future

Sup yā€™all! šŸ‘‹

TBH, todayā€™s show was probably one of our best out of 330+.

Itā€™s a practical, step-by-step guide on how you can make large language models work for YOU.

We show you simple ways LLMs work, in real-time, via Claude Projects and custom GPTs from ChatGPT. And not gonna lieā€¦ the results are friggin mind-blowing.

It is a lil longer of an episode though, so I wonā€™t be hurt if you play this one on 2X. Lolz.

Oh!

And you might be saying: looks cool and all Jordan, but I donā€™t have the paid version of Claude or ChatGPT

We gotcha there, too!

In our ā€˜Thanks a Millionā€™ giveaway, weā€™re giving away a year of your favorite LLM to the winner.

If you refer 3 friends whoā€™d benefit from Everyday AI today, youā€™d be in the lead.

Appreciate yā€™all.

Mistral AI Agents: What they are and how to build one or free

AI startup and LLM maker Mistral has just released a new feature that allows you to make AI agentsā€¦.for fFREE!

Thereā€™s some good upsides to why you might want to use Mistralā€™s AI Agents over custom GPTs and Claude Projects

We go over the pros and cons.

šŸ¦¾How You Can Leverage:

Picture this: youā€™re drowning in data.

But, you know your company or department is sitting on more golden data than the U.S. has Gold medals in Paris.

So whaddya do?

Squander the opportunity away?

Spend like 57 hours clicking around in Excel or Tabluea?

Just ignore it like that pile of clothes slowly overtaking your closest floor?

Maybe you have a team of business analysts on demand.

Or, if you donā€™t have an internal team, you pay an external group of data consultants like 150 grand. (Yay?)

Traditionally, hereā€™s how it works.

  • You dump a truckload of data on them.

  • Then in a week or 7, they come back to you with what you hope is some business insights thatā€™ll sparkle.

But we all know it never works that way.

Bummer, right?

Sure.

But AI is changing this whole dang scenario.

Large Language Models are legit whiz kids when it comes to working with your documents, data and churning out consultant-level insights on demand.

(We like giving away all the good stuff for free.)

And if you donā€™t watch todayā€™s episode, youā€™re legit putting your company or career at risk.

(Thatā€™s not hyperbole. Unless youā€™re already an expert in this field, we straight up implore you to go read/watch.)

If you want the high-level recap, we gotchyu here too.

Hereā€™s what you need to know about Anthropic Claudeā€™s new-ish Projects feature, how it stacks up to custom GPTs from ChatGPT, and how you can start taking advantage right away.

1 ā€“ Claude Projects = your personal LLM šŸ§‘ā€šŸŽØļø

Hereā€™s some cold, hard facts shorties.

Large Language Models are amazingly capable.

But they can also stink.

Why?

Part of it is your ability to prompt.

The other is the setup.

If youā€™re new to Claude and/or Claude Projects, we got you.

Hereā€™s the skinny:

- Anthropicā€™s newest model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, is one of the most powerful in the world.

- You can use it for free, but you need a $20/mo paid account to use the ā€˜Projectsā€™ feature

- Projects are essentially a version of Claude that you can customize with custom instructions and upload your own files or knowledgeable

- Whenever you ā€œChatā€ with that project, itā€™s like talking to a version of Claude thatā€™s hyper personalized to do exactly what you want and with direct access to your data.

The takeaway:

Have you REALLY not watched/listened to todayā€™s episode?

Make sure to go do it.

The first action step?

Go sign up for a free Claude account if you donā€™t have one yet. While you canā€™t use the ā€˜Projectsā€™ features on a free plan, you CAN use the new Artifacts feature that we go over later.

2 ā€“ Claude Projects vs. OpenAIā€™s custom GPTs šŸŽÆ

Yeah, bringing your data and custom instructions into a LLM isnā€™t a one-road journey.

Thereā€™s many ways to accomplish it.

Today, we went through the same process, LIVE, and compared results head-to-head.

In the same way that Claude Projects can use your custom instructions and data you upload to complete your every request, so can ChatGPTā€™s custom GPTs.

The takeaway:

Thereā€™s too many pros and cons to list here in one newsletter, so catching todayā€™s episode is your best bet.

However, hereā€™s a quick bullet point of the main differences and similarities between ChatGPTā€™s custom GPTs and Claudeā€™s Projects.

ChatGPTā€™s custom GPTs ā€”

  • Way more bells and whistles, but can be a bit more finicky.

  • You need a paid account to build them, but you can USE them on a free ChatGPT account.

  • Super powerful with the newest GPT-4o model.

  • Can handle a wider variety of file formats than Claude, although with a smaller total memory.

  • Also, you can work with multiple custom GPTs in the same chat/context window, although only one at a time.

Claude Projects ā€”

  • Not many features and functions now, but thatā€™ll likely change.

  • Prompt following is solid, however, instruction following in your custom settings can be wonky if theyā€™re too detailed.

  • You have to have a paid account to build and use Claude Projects, and you need a minimum of 5 paying team members to share projects with colleagues. (Vs. ChatGPTā€™s two-team member minimum.)

  • Claude Projects have more total memory for your files, however, accepts fewer document types.

The biggest benefit? Keep reading for thatā€¦ā€¦

3 ā€“ Claude Projects + Artifacts = šŸ¤Æ

Alright weā€™ll save you time. Just go watch THIS part of todayā€™s episode.

Yooooooooo.

The Artifacts feature is where Claude really shines.

You can technically use Artifacts in any part of Claude, including your Projects you build. In short, Artifacts allows you to EXECUTE code inside of Claude. ChatGPT has similar features, but is more limited to data visualizations.

Using Artifacts inside your projects is legit mind blowing.

Remember that hypothetical scenario in the intro above?

The one where we imagined you either needed a full blown Business Intelligence team or high-priced consultancy to pull basic insights out of those mountains of untapped data?

Yeah. Now imagine having to go to a separate team or company to take those insights and turn them into something you can ACTUALLY use.

Thatā€™s where the combination of Claude Projects + Artifacts really shines.

Itā€™s like not only having the worldā€™s smartest data scientists on demand, but ALSO having a talented team of web designers and app developers who can create apps and dashboards so specific to your company and data that itā€™s hard to actually wrap your head around it.

(Seriously.)

The takeaway:

In our example, our bespoke Claude rolled through hundreds of thousands of data points and started building !interactive business dashboards! on command.

Better yet?

You donā€™t even need to be prompt engineer expert to get those kind of results.

Try something as simple as:

ā€œPlease carefully analyze all of my documents, then, using the Artifacts feature, please build me a business intelligence dashboard based on the data that will be the most impactful for my use-case. Please think high-level, high-utility, and build a dashboard that will allow me to best understand the data, insights and opportunities that will bring the largest return on investment.ā€
