Keep ChatGPT from lying with a token counter

Looking to get the truth from ChatGPT's responses? The secret lies in a token counter!

Before you start your journey with ChatGPT, arm yourself with the knowledge to keep it honest and accurate.

We'll show you how to use a token counter to keep ChatGPT from lying.

🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

Robotic nursing assistants?

Digital Twins that scientists can use to make you personalized medicine?

Bespoke medical advice on your phone?

Yeah…. We really looked at the future of AI in healthcare with Dr. Harvey Castro.

And yeah, that’s what the future of healthcare in our new AI world will probably look like.

Skeptical?

We get it.

Even though the medical field has been one of the sectors with the most impressive developments in the AI and machine learning space, widespread adaptation has been slow.

And we get it. After all, there isn’t information much more sensitive than from your medical records. (And your bank account. And social security... you get it.)

And we got to thinking: if the medical industry has tapped into AI for decades to create so many impressive advancements in medicine, early diagnosis and improved health outcomes, then why does it still seem like 1999 on the patient side.

Like, if these AI models can create a life-saving drug at lightning speed, then why does it take like 7 months to see a cardiologist?

Especially in the US, healthcare can still be slow, expensive and inaccessible.

But, that could change VERY soon.

So, how long until amazing advancements in AI and medicine are felt by the rest of us?

It’s probably closer than we think.

Today’s show was a must-watch, whether you’re in the medical field or just wondering what your healthcare will look like in the years to come.

Let’s break it down. 👇

🦾How You Can Leverage:

You didn’t skip out on watching (or listening to) today’s episode did you?

Yeah, we’ll give you the cheat sheet on how you can leverage this mountain of AI healthcare info. But, you should probably go back and take this one in, and even jump in on the convo and shoot Dr. Castro your questions.

I mean, this photo is about AI in medicine.

Aren’t you curious?

OK you’re back. Insights on insights, right?

Let’s talk about how you can leverage this all.

1 – Say bye to old school healthcare 👋

Let’s be real.

In the US, we’ve (somehow?) become accustomed to old school, slow and antiquated healthcare. No bueno, right?

But, as we talked about in today’s episode, that’s likely to change very soon. Between Epic and Microsoft teaming up with OpenAI’s models, and Google’s new PaLM2 medical-focused large language model, healthcare is gonna be changing. Fast.

Try this: Today’s episode might be TOO futuristic, especially if you’re new-ish to AI. Go check out our first Everyday AI episode we did with Dr. Castro a few months ago for a good base on how the old school healthcare world is changing, as GenAI starts to kick its way into clinics, hospitals and research labs everywhere.

2 – Embrace the fast future 🤷

Dr. Castro knows a thing or two about AI and the healthcare space.

He wrote a book on ChatGPT and healthcare, and speaks all over the country on what Generative AI means for the future of healthcare. So when we talked about robotic nursing assistants, digital twins and carrying your personal health information with you everywhere you go, it's not science fiction.

Try this: Don’t take it from us. Go take a look at Google’s outlook on the future of AI in healthcare, or see what Microsoft is planning, or what IBM has in store. (Spoiler alert: it’s a LOT)

3 – Dive even deeper 🏊‍♂️️

What’s that? You want more?

In our convo today, we sometimes dipped our toe into a topic, talked about some groundbreaking tech, then moved on to the next topic. (Can you blame us? There’s so much to cover!) If you want to dive more into health regulations around AI, how you can use ChatGPT in healthcare or how different countries are handling AI governance in medical fields, we got you.

Try this:

Go check out this post from Dr. Castro, and download some SUPER impactful (and free!) AI and ChatGPT guides he put together.

Still want more?

Go check out this article from today he was quoted in about AI advancements to help people who are paralyzed.
