1. Google's Assistant is Getting a Major AI Upgrade 🚀

2. Meta's AI Chatbots: The New Kids on the Block 🤖

Meta is gearing up to launch a range of AI-powered chatbots with distinct personalities as early as September. The social media giant is reportedly designing prototypes for chatbots that can hold human-like conversations with users, aiming to boost engagement on its platforms.

3. YouTube's New AI Video Summarizer 🎥

According to a support page notice, Google (owner of Youtube) is experimenting with AI to provide a brief overview of a video's content, without replacing the existing human-written description. This feature is currently limited to a select number of English-language videos and users.

🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

In late 2022, ChatGPT set the internet ablaze.

Suddenly, just about every human everywhere knew about the AI bot that could write content on demand.

Like Google, ChatGPT has become a verb.

‘Just ChatGPT it’

But, the majority of people are making one HUGE mistake.

The free version kinda sucks. (At least compared to the paid version)

(Sorry not sorry.)

OK, OK. Don’t get us wrong.

The free version of ChatGPT is still groundbreaking tech, and is so technically advanced and powerful and yada yada yada.

But, yo, have you really not tried the paid version yet?

Maybe our Everyday AI team wasn’t blown away by the free version, as we had been using the GPT tech in the wild since 2020.

That’s why we dedicated an entire episode to go over the pros and cons of the paid and free version of ChatGPT.

The skinny?

The free version is a 1999 flip phone.

The paid version is the iPhone 16 X Plus/Max that can run your entire business.

We on the same page now? Cool, let’s dive in:

🦾How You Can Leverage:

Pay for ChatGPT?

“Yeah right. The free version is more than enough!”

Said no one ever.

(But iff you’ve said the above, please, please, please, listen to today’s podcast then scroll to the bottom for a lil gift from us. You’ll thank us later.)

OK, welcome back.

You now know the differences between the free and paid version of ChatGPT.

Let’s break it down to hammer it all home 🔨

1 – The free version is so 2021 👴🏻

Like, literally.

One of the biggest hallucinations people get in ChatGPT is when it makes stuff up. That’s especially the case when you’re using the free version of ChatGPT, as it cuts at 2021.

Essentially, that Econ 101 paper that the free ChatGPT wrote for you aint gonna reflect anything past September 2021, so be prepared for some outdated and stale copy.

Try this: Get ChatGPT plus and give it internet access. Even though Open AI took away the ‘Browse with Bing’ mode because of some legal trouble, we got you. Here’s how to still access the internet in ChatGPT.

2 – Plugins change the game 🔌

Our favorite part of ChatGPT plus?

Plugins. As we talked about today, plugins are what makes that Nokia snake phone the smartest smart phone ever. They can essentially run your business.

Try this: OK, there’s 800 plugins. Where do you start? Join us for our livestream on Friday as we dive into the best ChatGPT plugins.

3 – Learn with PPP 🤝

Self-promotion time:

Our PPP course is the best and easiest way to learn ChatGPT Plus. Period. Our Prime, Prompt, Polish course is free, jam-packed, and there’s no upsells or anything. Just a no BS way for Everyday people to learn to get the most out of ChatGPT.

And it’s free and no upsells.

Try this: Simple. Reply to this email with PPP and we’ll shoot you sign-up info. We keep the webpage hidden, like a super secret cool kids club. We have classes today and tomorrow scheduled, but it might be a few weeks or a month until we run our next PPP course.

It’s so good, people are taking the course more than once!

Now This …

Wait, you STILL haven’t replied “PPP” to this email yet?

Awwwwwwwwwkward.
