The secret way to get consistent images in Midjourney 🤯

One problem with Midjourney?

Whether you’re trying to get consistent AI images for a blog post, your next big presentation, or for a moodboard, it can be a struggle in Midjourney.

Unless you caught this little secret we shared today. We break a hack to get consistent Midjourney images in today's AI in 5.

New giveaway coming soon….

🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

Midjourney is only for ultra futuristic photos of Darth Vader eating cake while riding a pegasus, right?

Nope.

AI-powered art generators like Midjourney aren’t just for party tricks. Quite the opposite, actually. You can leverage AI art in all aspects of your business — from mockups and photos for your blog posts to moodboards and improved images in your presentations.

That’s what we learned in today’s livestream, our Pt. 2 of Midjourney for beginners. (Check Pt. 1 here if you missed it.)

The takeaway: just about anyone can leverage AI art in their day-to-day lives.

Don’t believe us?

Here’s some out-of-the-box, yet VERY real world examples of how just about anyone could use Midjourney:

Advertising Account Manager –> Concept art for client advertising meeting
Real Estate Agent –> Virtual staging of properties
Compliance Officer –> Visual aids for regulatory training
Human Resources Manager –> Employee handbook illustrations
Fashion Designer –> Prototyping new clothing patterns
School Administrator –> Educational pathway diagrams
Music Producer –> Album cover designs
Travel Agent –> Virtual travel brochures and destination previews
Event Coordinator –> Themed event concept art
Personal Trainer –> Visual guides for exercise routines
IT Support Technician –> Network topology diagrams

Like we talked about (and demonstrated in real-time!) in today’s show, Midjourney is for just about anyone.

You following now? Intrigued to learn more?

Legit. Let’s get creative with it 👇

🦾How You Can Leverage:

1 – Create brand identity in Midjourney 🎨

Whether you’re starting an idea from scratch, or your existing company needs a brand facelift, you can get it all done (or at least a running start) inside Midjourney.

Try this:
Create logos, app mockups, website layouts, and more in Midjourney.

Here’s the simple prompt we used for a logo:

logo for veterinary clinic, minimal, modern, vibrant colors

Which gave us this:

And our simple prompt for the app we would build for our vet clinic:

user interface mockups, figma, veterinary clinic, UX, close up screens, 4K, dark mode

Which gave us this:

2 – Ditch boring stock photos 🖼️

Look at your website. Or that presentation you’re about to turn in. Are those photos from 1997? Gross. (I mean, unless we’re talking about the ‘97 Chicago Bulls.)

The images we use speak so much about our companies, departments, or presentations we’re getting ready to pitch. So ditch the 90s stock photos and use Midjourney AI art to power your next blog post, presentation, or report cover.

Try this:
Give your outdated visuals a nice Midjourney makeover. In our live example, we pretended we were writing a blog post encouraging dog owners to come to our animal clinic to get their dog’s teeth checked.

We used this simple prompt:

Stock image showing vet caring for friendly dog, inspecting teeth, photorealistic, unsplash

Which gave us this results:

3 – Create consistent image sets 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

One of the knocks on Midjourney is that it’s hard to get consistent images that you can use together. In other words, Midjourney can create awe-inspiring and creative images, but sometimes, you might want a little more control.

You might want consistency from one image to the next, to create some continuity and alignment from image to image.

What to do? Start your “/inspire” prompt with a Midjourney image URL instead of descriptive words. (Check this video, which jumps straight to the details)

So in this case, we will start with this base image (which was also generated in Midjourney.)

And for our vet office interior, we want to use this base imagery, but give it some Good Boy doggy flair.

So, we just use the source image URL as the base of the prompt and add Labrador Retriever and Chihuahua to get our new doggy decor:

so

/inspire https://s.mj.run/S69gZScpG5Y labrador retriever gave us:

And

/inspire https://s.mj.run/S69gZScpG5Y chihuahua gave us:

See that?

One of Midjourney’s biggest issues solved: consistent images! (And some great interior design inspo for our make-believe new vet clinic!)

Now This …
