🦾How You Can Leverage:

Got a weird feeling in your stomach about how AI may impact your company or job?

(Or maybe fish tacos at lunch were a bad choice?)

We can’t help with the latter, but we’ve got some gems incoming to deal with that uncertainty that comes with how AI may impact your business future.

Coming in for the assist on turning that uneasiness into an actionable plan forward was Luv Tulsidas, the Founder and CEO of Techolution

Luv’s seen the impact AI can have on companies first-hand.

His company not only helps consult enterprise companies on shifting their focus to AI, but they’ve also gone through that same transformation themselves.

Luv shared the ups and downs, tackled the uneasy questions, and laid out a clear path forward for your business.

Ready to ditch those uneasy feelings and feel a bit more secure about your business future with AI?

Saaaaame, shorties.

Today’s show is definitely worth a watch/listen, but here’s the bullet points of what you need to know. 👇

1 – Our jobs aren’t going to look the same 🧑‍🎨

Luv has more AI employees than actual employees.

Techolution is a 500-person tech consulting company that also ‘employs’ 1,000 AI employees. That might be a common scenario for businesses that thrive in the age of AI, Luv said.

(Side note — we’re a fan of Luv’s approach of growing WITH GenAI instead of cutting jobs BECAUSE of GenAI.)

Here’s how our roles might look — AI assistants become our apprentice. We teach them. They learn from us. And that frees up human time, Luv said.

That might force smart humans away from the mundane aspects of a job they didn’t ever really like, and free them instead to build something greater and grander with AI assistants or agents working under them.

Try this:

We hope that all companies will grow responsibly and ethically with AI. But, that might not always be the case.

We offered a slightly different point of view in our 1 Year Anniversary Episode for Everyday AI titled: ‘Will AI take our jobs,” which we think is worth checking out.

2 – ROI on AI may take time 🎯

Want results tomorrow?

That’s not how AI works, Luv said. But here’s the key when you do want to turn a big ROI on GenAI.

Like everything else, there’s riches in the niches.

If you’re looking for a broad, long-term, top-to-bottom GenAI rollout, it might take forever and a half to realize the benefit.

But when you find niche applications and attack them with data and strategy = Yahtzee. Or a trump card in euchre (Jordan’s a huge euchre fan).

Try this:

Luv shared some of Techolution’s wins first-hand. He found the process of his team creating Statements of Work and Requests for Proposals was a time-sucking, laborious process.

Turns out AI was better. And faster. (And ultimately, cheaper.)

If you missed this chat, it’s a must watch, as James Daniell of LanzaTech, a $62 million company, walked us through the behind-the-scenes of how they turned their biz IP into their own version of ChatGPT.

And yeah, AI has a huge ROI in case you were wondering.

3 – Pick the right battle 🧍

Whether you realize it or not, surviving in this new age of business is a battle.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a trillion dollar company or small biz. Generative AI is a technology the world has never seen before. And it levels the playing field.

If you’re a $100 million company dragging your feet on AI, that $10 million dollar competitor that’s all-in on AI might eat your dang lunch.

Hom-nom.

Or, if you’re the small fish in the big pond, a sound AI strategy can morph you into the killer whale.

Luv laid out the strategy — it’s all about picking the right battle.

Try this:

Your AI projects gotta align with business strategies and core competencies. And Luv said it's important to focus on achievable, practical AI applications rather than chasing trends.

Don’t fight a battle you can’t win. But know that GenAI gives you new business weapons you’ve never had before.

Not sure where to start?

Don’t worry, you already know we’ve got you covered fam.
