Using AI to learn from videos faster 🧠

Tired of logging into like 13 (or 130) different GenAI apps? Us too.

Maybe Microsoft Copilot will change that. But while we wait, maybe Yarnit could be the all-in-one GenAI tool we’ve been waiting for.

Will it be any good? Find out in AI in 5.

A couple hours left to win something (we think) is craaaaazy valuable.

In case you missed it last Friday….you’re in luck. Our contest timezone got all screwed up, so we decided to extend the contest for a couple of days.

We’re celebrating 100 episodes of Everyday AI by giving away 10 AI strategy consults!

Most companies would charge you $2K-$20K for this. (Some would charge more. lol)

We’re giving it away. No cost. Multiple meetings with our team, and we’ll build an outline on how you can implement GenAI.

How it works:

  1. Sign up for the contest and confirm your email

  2. Copy your unique referral code

  3. Send your referral code to friends/coworkers and have them sign up for the contest!

You and your referrals will need to confirm your email addresses. The 8 participants with the most successful referrals will automatically win! The other 2 giveaway winners will be chosen at random.

So everyone has a chance to win!

🤷‍♂️ What’s Going On and Why It Matters:

How can nonprofits actually use Generative AI?

As we learned today, there’s no shortage of ways.

Anne Murphy, the CEO of Empowered Fundraiser Consulting and Coaching gave us the real scoop.

And here’s the real talk: nonprofits don’t have to be archaic and slow-moving. We know the stereotypes all too well, as Jordan spent a decade in the NPO space.

Anne showed us how nonprofits can not only tap into the DOPE potential of GenAI, but she outlined something even more important: how to keep stakeholder trust while using AI.

If that’s your space, you’ll wanna go re-watch today’s stream and drop a question for Anne.

And even if nonprofits aren’t your cup of tea, there’s still plenty of insights you can take from today’s show.

With generative AI, nonprofits (and other companies!) can streamline collaboration, making event planning smoother and more efficient. From event strategy to invitation crunching, AI can help manage all the intricate details.

Or, you can take the old, archaic, slow route. Up to y’all.

But if you’re ready for the fast(er) lane, let’s zoooooooom.

🦾How You Can Leverage:

Nonprofits and cutting-edge tech don’t historically jive.

But screw that. Let’s get cutting edge shorties.

And Anne Murphy took us into the fundraising future, sprinkled in with data security and responsibility.

If you’re ready to step up your nonprofit’s game and tap into fundraising + AI secrets, we got you.

Here’s your 1-2-3:

1 – Streamline collaboration org-wide 👥

Wait. That has nothing to do with fundraising!!

OK. So you want to waste time or nah? If you want to free time and focus on fundraising, kick some of those more mundane and manual tasks to the curb.

Anne dropped some truth bombs on all the other areas that Generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard (and the forthcoming Microsoft Copilot!) to streamline collaboration in every inch of your org.

Try this:
Anne normally has some paid resources, but she’s giving it to us here. Go check out her great guide (which she made free for EverydAIers!) on ChatGPT basics for nonprofit pros. Or, check out this Impact Report for more empowered fundraising.

2 – Use AI & keep stakeholder trust 🤝

Yeah, you can do both.

Making sure to keep your donor information (and other private or confidential info!) secure. In general, if you have Personally Identifiable Information from donors or other stakeholders, never upload that into a large language model or other GenAI systems.

But, there’s still plenty of data and use-cases for LLMs that will improve fundraising. Like… you really wanna spend 10 hours getting that RFP from 3 pages of notes to a 20 page application? Or build that grant from scratch? (Grossyuckbarf) Just ChatGPT that sucker! (Minus PII, of course!)

Try this:
Anne dropped a great, free resource: FundraisingAI. She mentioned a free conference on AI and fundraising. So if you’re still reading this, that might be a resource worth checking out.

3 – Optimize donor outreach 💰

More money. No problems.

Anne recommended sprinkling in some AI magic in your fundraising campaigns. Especially for larger orgs drowning in a sea of data. You can have your team spend days diving in. Or hire expensive consultants. Or. Or……

Try this:
Anne mentioned ChatGPT’s Advanced Data Analysis mode, formerly called Code Interpreter. (We teach this in our free Prime, Prompt, Polish course. Have you really not replied PPP to our emails before for access?!)

When using ChatGPT’s ADA mode, remember not to upload confidential info or any PII. But once you scrub your data clean of that, sit back and watch ChatGPT do all the crunching, like in this example.

Now This …

Remember when Doug Thompson came on the Everyday AI show? It was an awesome episode. So awesome, in fact, that I returned the favor and (hopefully) dropped a few storytelling gems on his amazing podcast. Go listen!
