1. ChatGPT Plugins Could be Security Risks šŸ”“

ChatGPTā€™s recent plugins, available only to GPT-4 users, have expanded ChatGPT's capabilities, allowing it to do everything from flight searches to analyzing text on websites. Not so fast, though. Johann Rehberger, a security researcher, warns that these plugins could be exploited to steal chat histories, personal information, and even execute code on users' machines.

2. Publishers Band Together to Sue AI Giants šŸ“°āš–ļø

Major publishers, including The New York Times, News Corp, and Axel Springer, are reportedly forming a coalition to sue AI behemoths like Google and OpenAI. These AI companies are allegedly training their generative models using the publishers' content without permission, which could impact traffic to their websites from Google searches.

3. AI News Anchor Debuts in India šŸ“ŗ

India's got a new face in the newsroom, and it's not human! Meet Lisa, the AI-generated news anchor making waves on Odisha TV, a local station in eastern India. While Lisa's slow blinking and stuttering motion might give you the creeps, her delivery is serviceable enough to pass for human if you're not paying close attention.

4. OpenAI's AI Detection Tool: A Short-Lived Experiment šŸ§Ŗ

OpenAI, the AI powerhouse, has quietly pulled the plug on its AI detection tool, AI Classifier, due to its low accuracy rate. Launched with the promise of distinguishing between human and AI-written text, the tool often mislabeled human-written text as AI-generated and struggled with text under 1,000 characters. Our take: most AI detection tools are gimmicky and donā€™t really work.

5. AI-Powered War: A Future Without Soldiers? šŸ¤–šŸ’„

Task Force 59, a group within the US Navy's Fifth Fleet, is testing a fleet of autonomous drones and robot ships, using AI to monitor the ocean's surface and underwater activities. The goal? To integrate these technologies into naval operations, potentially reducing the need for human soldiers in conflict zones. Now you know why governments are starting to treat AI as more than a fancy computer assistant.

Should you let AI make money decisions for you?

*Hands off my 401K, you greedy robot*

Thatā€™s up to you, but after todayā€™s conversation with TriangleAI founder Treebel Solimani, we think you should at least give AI a chance to help you manage your money.

Hereā€™s why.

Right now, TriangleAI is sort of like a financial whiz at your fingertips. Think if ChatGPT was trained only for managing your investment or portfolio.

And if youā€™re a little hesitant to jump into a freshly launched platform: rest assured. Right now, TriangleAI doesnā€™t *actually* manage your investments or even connect to them. Itā€™s just your super smart personal financial assistant, ready to crunch millions of data points at your command.

You still call the shots, shot caller.

Today, we dove into the future of AI-powered investment tools, Treebelā€™s personal story, and even how you can use ChatGPT to grow your startup or business.

Give us 24 minutes, and youā€™ll more than likely be feeling better about using a lil AI power in your portfolio.

šŸ¦¾How You Can Leverage:

Alright, youā€™re stoked, right?

AI can save you time and make your money make you money.

Where to start?

Weā€™re here to break it all down.

Whether youā€™re sprinting to try out TriangleAI, or ready to sprinkle in a little AI magic with your current wealth management platform, hereā€™s some basics to get you started.

1 ā€“ AI + portfolio management is the future šŸ”®

Sorry not sorry.

Whether youā€™re prepared for it or not, AI and GPT tech is going to be popping up everywhere in money management.

Be prepared to see your bank, 401K, and wealth management platforms to start directly integrating AI and GPT tech sooner rather than later.

Try this:
If youā€™re working with a financial advisor, ask them what AI or GPT tools theyā€™re already using. They may be using TriangleAI, or a service like Wealth Management GPT, or following popular sites/entities like The GPT Portfolio.

2 ā€“ Get your hands dirty šŸ‘

Chances are that your wealth management company youā€™re using already offers AI or GPT-powered products for you to use.

You might have to go out of your way to find them, but the biggest companies in the wealth management space are already offering these products and services.

Try this:
Sure, robo-advisors and AI have been around the financial space for decades. But new advancements in GenAI have also brought a way of friendlier (and more transparent!) offerings from big wealth management groups.

Hereā€™s a rundown of some of the more popular portfolio management companies and their AI/GPT offerings:

Fidelity AMP is an automated digital advice solution that collects and intelligently analyzes data to provide personalized recommendations

JPMorgan Chase is developing a ChatGPT-like software service called IndexGPT

Morgan Stanley is partnering directly with OpenAI for wealth management

HSBC has rolled out its own ChatGPT-esque tool.

Schwab Intelligent Portfolios goes from a questionnaire to a full built out portfolio

3 ā€“ Keep learning and exploring šŸ—ŗļø

Letā€™s say the quiet part out loud: this space is fast-evolving. As inā€¦ this new announcement from Clearwater Analytics was announced minutes ago as a new way to use GenAI for investment management.

Hereā€™s what we know: the financial and wealth management sector is going to look completely different in a year or two than it does now. There will be more changes in the coming year than thereā€™s been in a decade. The biggest companies are trying to learn from smaller startups and early adapters to see how AI and GPT tech are going to shape the industry.

Try this:
Donā€™t pull your hair trying to keep up with movements in the space. Instead, read this daily newsletter and listen to Everyday AI on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. When news breaks in the wealth management space in regards to AI, you betta beliiiiiieve weā€™ll be covering it.

Now This ā€¦

Now for the fun part.

Set your plan into place and with the help of AI, watch your wealth management thrive!

Hope this helps you get that moolah! šŸ˜Ž
